The magic of Cartagena is in wandering the streets of the beautiful colonial walled city. Imagine walking out your door each day of your vacation and being right in the heart of that magic! 

 We offer three beautiful and tastefully renovated U.S.-style apartments on Calle de la Moneda, in the heart of the old city: a studio, a one bedroom, and a two bedroom apartment. You can “mix and match” to have a three or four bedroom option as well. These second floor apartments help you feel at home with cable TV in every room, WiFi, full U.S.-style kitchen (except for studio which has a mini-kitchen), linens, bath and beach towels, hot water (not all places in Cartagena have this!), and clothes washer and dryer. Each bedroom has a double bed; the one and two-bedroom apartments also have sleeper sofas. The one bedroom and studio apartments have balconies overlooking the street below--great for people watching and getting a feel for Cartagena life!

 The apartments are within a block or two of shopping, restaurants, cafes, the old city wall and the beautiful Parque de Fernandez Madrid. Walk just a couple of more blocks and you reach museums, plazas, even the Caribbean Sea! We are a 10 minute/US$7 taxi ride from the airport, and the beaches of Bocagrande and Laguito are a five minute/US$4 taxi ride away.

Two bedroom (6 person maximum): US$160-$200 a night
One bedroom (4 person maximum): US$115-$150 a night
Studio (2 person maximum): US$80-$100 a night

From December 20, 2013-January 5, 2014, prices are higher and there is a 5 night minimum.

Check-in 3 pm; check-out 11 am
Check-in/out times can be flexible when possible; please contact us about check-ins later than 10 pm.

Calle de la Moneda Studio Apartment

The three newly renovated vacation apartments on the Calle de la Moneda are all on the same floor of a two-story building and are the only apartments in the building. The street is popular and busy by day, which makes for great people watching on the balcony--you'll love sipping your cup of coffee or glass of wine and seeing "Cartagena" go by! At night, however, the street is quiet; you'll enjoy a peaceful sleep.

There's plenty of light and storage as well as air conditioning, a ceiling fan, cable TV, wifi, linens,  bath and beach towels, and a washer and dryer in the hall.
Here you have a view towards apartment entrance, the door on the right. On the left is a "hotel door" with a double lock; it connects to the one bedroom apartment. This door is normally locked, but if the studio and one bedroom are rented together, it can be opened.

We've just entered the apartment's main door into the living/dining area.

Imagine yourself sipping coffee, wine or a tropical juice drink here while people watching on the street below!

Here is your dining area; the door to the left connects to the studio apartment. While normally locked, it can be unlocked if the studio and one bedroom are rented together.

Relaxing....because you have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, wifi, cable TV, linens, bath and beach towels, and a washer and dryer down the hall if you need it! The couch can be converted into a bed if needed.

Your fully-equipped kitchen! (It's even possible to have Colombian cooking lessons done here if you wish.)
